Hallein – Zinkenkogel
Tour with culture and nature
From the Pernerinsel in Hallein you first cycle through the Celtic town. Passing the Silent Night Museum, you will finally reach the Dürrnberg. With a few exceptions, the route is often (steeply) uphill to the Zinken lifts or to the destination at the top, the Zinkenstüberl. There the effort is rewarded with delicacies and views.
Partly really steep paths, which even lead over the ski slope, require a certain level of fitness for this mountain bike tour. After a rest with a magnificent panorama and refreshment with local and homemade specialties, it goes next to the approach path also less steep back down: via the so-called Wichtelweg. You then cycle back to Hallein via federal roads.
