Donnerkogelbahn Annaberg
Into the gondola, up to paradise
Romantic huts, flowering alpine meadows, majestic peaks: the Donnerkogelbahn in Annaberg takes you to a hiking paradise straight out of a picture book. Even the ride up to the Riedlkopf in the Dachstein West area gives you an idea of what awaits you: a spectacular panorama and an extensive hiking area with easy and challenging tours.
The mountain station, just under 1,500 metres above sea level, is the starting point for many hikes for the whole family. But before you explore the area, first enjoy the fantastic view. The Tennengebirge, the Gosaukamm, the Dachstein or the Bischofsmütze are just a few of the peaks to marvel at. You should not miss out on a cheese snack from our own alpine dairy at the Rottenhofhütte.
