Hallein Puppet Theater

The evening with Matthias Schorn & Friends has been a staple of the gruber and more Festival for years. Together with Monika Hosp, Luca Monti, and Albert Hosp, Matthias Schorn presents a concert brimming with joy that bridges musical eras and styles. The program centers on works by Franz Schubert, including “Du bist die Ruh’” and “Der Hirt auf dem Felsen,” complemented by music from prominent contemporary composers such as Arvo Pärt.

With varying combinations of soprano, clarinet, and piano, the program explores themes of nature, love, peace, and inner tranquility. Guided insights into the works and their creation invite the audience to experience the music mindfully and escape the daily grind for an evening.
