Stadtfest Hallein 2026

It’s finally that time again! On Saturday, 27 June 2026, the big Hallein Town Festival will be taking place! We’re celebrating the colourful diversity of our beautiful town. And we mean in every sense of the word:
With a varied programme of (live) music and fantastic performers. Music will be playing and life will be celebrated in various corners of the town. Find yourself a seat and enjoy the hustle and bustle, or mingle with the colourful party crowd – there’s something for everyone at the Hallein City Festival. And because, as we all know, the way to the heart is through the stomach, first-class cuisine and delicious drinks are, of course, a must!
Megaloh
For over two decades, Megaloh has stood for uncompromising rap: the MC from Berlin-Moabit, with Nigerian-German-Dutch roots, has continually redefined the scene – as a live MC, writer, producer and independent artist. With his fifth studio album “Schwarzer Lotus”, due for release in 2025 on his own label Chinonso Records, he builds on the Golden Era, focuses on drumless beats and explores self-doubt, fighting spirit and artistic independence – far removed from quick-fix hits and playlist logic.
NENDA
The Tyrolean musician and rapper NENDA grew up in the Ötztal valley and now lives in London. In her debut single “Mixed Feelings”, she explores her experiences of everyday racism and growing up as a mixed-race woman between Austria and the UK. Switching between English and the Tyrolean dialect, she talks about stereotyping, prejudice and absurd questions, wrapped up in a funky, humorous track that makes the gravity of the subject palpable whilst playfully subverting it.
Please Madame
The Salzburg-based band Please Madame captivate audiences with their unique sound, which blends pop, indie and electronic influences. The band impresses with catchy melodies and an electrifying live performance. Their music combines modern sounds with profound lyrics, creating an unforgettable listening experience.
Sugaray Rayford
The Texas-born artist has been nominated for a Grammy, among other accolades. In 2019 and 2020, the likeable soul-blues singer and songwriter was named ‘Soul Blues Artist of the Year’, and in 2020 he was awarded the ‘B.B. King Entertainer of the Year’ title.
Pam Pam Ida
This charming band has won over many hearts with their blend of pop, indie, folk and traditional sounds – and not just in their home region of Bavaria. The band captivates audiences with catchy melodies and a distinctive attitude: uncompromising, authentic and far removed from the commercial mainstream. Pam Pam Ida are a real experience live – their concerts invite the audience to leave everyday life behind and immerse themselves in another world. As part of their ‘Nehmts mi mit’ tour, they’re stopping off in Hallein to bring new songs and tried-and-tested hits to the stage. A must for anyone who wants to experience pop music with depth and charm.
PIPPA
Pippa is a Viennese artist with a knack for catchy, danceable pop melodies. Her signature sound sometimes ventures into the realms of experimental electronica, only to give way at other moments to a tranquil instrumental backdrop against which reflective, yet always hopeful, lyrics are set. Sometimes so direct that it is both liberating and unsettling; at other times abstract, almost fairy-tale-like, Pippa tells stories from her world, which suddenly seems entirely familiar.
brothers van yarns
The band from Golling, Kuchl and Salzburg captivates audiences with their energetic, danceable and heart-warming indie-folk-dance-pop. In the brothers’ stories, acoustic and electric sounds come together: acoustic guitars, ukuleles, trumpets and accordions embark on adventures alongside electronic sounds, bass, electro beats and drums.
Biggs B Sonic
The rockabilly party band from Hamburg! Rock, rock ’n’ roll and ska, expertly blended with a vintage sound and spiced up with songs ranging from Elvis to rock hits – get ready for the Biggs B Rockabilly Show!
