Exhibition Opening & Open House

The first special exhibition in the new space on the top floor of the Keltenmuseum Hallein—dedicated to Kurt W. Zeller (1945–2009)—highlights the history of research at Dürrnberg. The focus is on the individuals whose discoveries and excavations have shaped our understanding of this significant Celtic archaeological site—from the earliest researchers to Kurt Zeller. Selected artifacts, historical documents, and photographs provide insights into the development of archaeological research at Dürrnberg and highlight its key figures.
