Hidden treasures: A journey into the heart of salt.
Birgit Eder will take you on a walk from the town up to the Dürrnberg—the place where Hallein’s salt history began.
Along the way, you will discover the Maria Dürrnberg church and the historic graduation tower before diving into the fascinating world underground: the Hallein Salt Mines await you with ancient tunnels, a fast-paced mine train, and exciting insights into the history of “white gold.” A leisurely return trip rounds off your adventure.
Admission to the salt mines is, of course, included.
