The redesign was based on the plans of architect Heinz Tesar and since then it has enjoyed a generous glass front and the magnificent city terrace above the foyer.The 2 cinema halls with 347 and 52 seats respectively offer a varied cinema programme ranging from cultural films to the latest blockbusters and children&#8217;s films. For discerning cineastes, there is the &#8220;Stadtkino Hallein Filmclub&#8221; every Tuesday, with the main focus on arthouse films and alternative genres.
