Ride the longest Alpine Slide in Salzburg

Just a few minutes by car from Salzburg City, visitors are drawn by the longest Alpine Slide in SalzburgerLand at a total length of 2.2 km - the Keltenblitz on the Dürrnberg! The Zinkenkogel on the Dürrnberg offers magnificent panoramic views ranging from the Untersberg to the Dachstein. From the valley lift station, you have the choice of enjoying a leisurely hike or a comfortable ride on the double chairlift up the Zinkenkogel. Once at the top, daredevils one and all get to ride the Alpine Slide all the way back down to the valley below (or simply hop back aboard the chairlift). The Alpine Slide is open from May to October - though for safety reasons, in good weather only.
