Fine Foods of Tennengau
At Tennengau's alpine cheese dairies and cheese huts, the multiple-award-winning organic hay-milk cheese has been produced for generations. You can sample these unique cheeses for yourself, not only at alpine cheeseries and cheese huts, but also in participating restaurants and inns. From classic cheese made from cow's milk to goat's cheese – allowed to mature for different lengths of time, you can purchase these cheeses at food festivals, but also direct from the farms and dairies where they are produced. At the region's cheese huts, after your hike you can stop in to enjoy their homemade products accompanied by magical views.
